We were back out in the van around 1 p.m. in search of "rice" again. Terry's not a big meat eater,
attempting to keep his diet light for the road, and the rest of us are pretty much semi-vegetarians,
so we get along food-wise. We found a recommended spot, an oriental buffet, but the $10.99 all
you can eat was just too much for me and Jesse. I'm sending home $60 for every $100 I make, so
that leaves me only $40 for six days of food. So we went across the street to Wendy's for cheapo
sustenance.
Jesse and I talked Terry and Jeff into waiting for us at a nearby supermarket while we pinched our pennies into groceries. I bought some fruit, carrots, peanut butter, bread and tuna, and found a $2.50 deli sandwich for a buck off. This will leave me with about four dollars a day until the next gig. Ugh...
I spent the rest of the day farting around online and doing configuring and diagnostics on the laptop while mindlessly watching TV.
