My circadian cycles are normalizing, although I notice I'm still oriented to earlier Pacific Time. I guess we'll be spending most of our time in this time zone, so get used to it...
After loading out of the Ramada, Kenny had gone to stay with his parents and the rest of us headed out looking for a place near Kenny's to stay. Terry was looking out for a Red Roof Inn or something like that, and sure enough, there right off I-696 in Warren (near Kenny's) was a Red Roof running a weekend special. Terry negotiated a good rate for four days for two singles and a double. We all flipped a quarter to see who would get the single and who would room together. I got heads, and Jesse and Jeff got tails, so I got the single. Yay! Not that I'm anti-social, or anything...it's just nice to stretch out. I have a thing that happens with me with numbers where multiples of "11" will show up at least four or five times a day. My room number: 111...
I'm getting close to needing to do laundry. It's a bit more crucial for me than the others, since I work up quite a sweat when I play, and that sweat turns to other shades as time goes by...Terry said we'll do it tomorrow. Kenny and his parents have invited us over for dinner around 5, so I'm looking forward to that!
I walked for about two miles down Dequintre Street, picking up a can opener key from K-Mart, and a three-dollar turkey pita sandwich from a deli. I was originally in search of the laundromat the front desk clerk had pointed me in the direction of, but it turned out to be too far to walk.
